What's wrong with this picture?

The United states senate Budget Committee reports that eleven states now have more people on welfare than they have people employed. Just think of that, these states now have more people sitting home on their fat-asses watching some meaningless TV show than they have people working. But wait it gets even worse! Between food stamps, housing support, child care, Medicaid, to name only a few of the government programs that make up the so-called safety net, the average US household on welfare receives $168.00 a day in government Support. That means that being on welfare now pays the equivalent of $30.00 an hour, for a 40 hour sit at home and watch TV work week, while the average job in America pays only $20.00 an hour, that is if you are lucky enough to find full time employment. By the way, in case you haven't guessed, the states having more of their citizens, or non-citizens, unemployed than employed include the liberal strongholds of Hawaii, California, New York, and Illinois. Yes, dear reader, liberalism has been an unmitigated disaster for America and things are likely to get a hell of a lot worse before they get better! Think - large scale riots in all of our major cities: inflation rates exceeding 20%; a complete collapse of our banking system; street gangs running unchecked in an every-man for him or herself in lawless environment; and, last but not least, people dying on the streets for lack of medical care. Yes, we are headed for a complete societal collapse that will make the social disruptions in Greece look like child's play.

The Legitimacy of the Obama Presidency

Over the last eight years or so, there has been a lot of chatter from the right side of the isle about the place of Obama's birth. For some reason my conservative colleagues seem to think that the fact that our first black president was born in Kenna disqualified him from becoming president. There were many reasons this socialist should not have been elected president of the United States, but this is not one of them. In this respect, the fact that Obama's communist mother was born in the United states has never been questioned; thus, like it or not, Obama is an American citizen, irrespective of where he was born. As you will recall, John McCain was born in Panama of an American mother and no one ever questioned his qualifications to run for the presidency. On hind sight maybe they should have! However, we are now facing an entirely different kettle of fish and I would argue that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) abuse of power prior to the 2012 election so contaminated the electoral process that the results of the election were meaningless! It is becoming increasingly clear with each passing day that Obama's administration used the immense powers of the IRS to hamper legitimate efforts of Tea Party members, the Southern Christian Association and a host of other conservative groups to unseat Obama in the last election. Whether Obama knew about these shenanigans is beside the point, his supporters knew and that's all that matters! Why is the use of the IRS's attempts to thwart voices on the right such an egregious abuse of power? As you will recall, in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission (2010) the Supreme Court held that the First Amendment prohibits the government from restricting political independent expenditures and electioneering communications by corporations, associations or labor unions. In other words, the court equated the use of money to promote a political point of view with the sacred right of free speech, not to be screwed around with, even by democrats. The liberal democratic minions in the IRS successfully circumvented the clear cut intent of the Supreme Court in their ruling in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, not by a direct attempt to suppress the political advertisements of their opponents, but by making it difficult or impossible for conservative groups to obtain tax free status for their organizations. Obviously, if an organization has to pay taxes of the money they raise for their political enterprises they will have less to spend on their attempts to influence the votes of those participating in the election. We will never how much difference the dirty tricks of the demorats imbedded in the IRS had on the last election. However, that is not the point; rather, the issue is whether or not every candidate running in the election, including governor Romney, got a fair shot at the prize or were conservative candidates in the 2012 election playing with a deck of cards that was stacked against them from the get-go. The answer is obvious! The 2012 election was rigged against Romney and the conservatives because their attempts to organize against Obama and other democratic candidates were thwarted, in part, by the tyrants in the IRS. As such, the results of the election should be declared null and void! There is no other reasonable solution to the problem. We must throw out the results of the flawed 2012 election and start all over again. By the way, the demorats in the IRS, and White House, responsible for this travesty of justice should spend the remainder of their days in federal prison, without, by the way, conjugal visits!

Why All The Scandals!

There has never been a more scandal ridden presidency than that of Barack Hussein Obama, never! You have to ask yourself, why the members of this administration are continually on the hot seat? Lord Mable, it's gotten so bad that the liberal press is even questioning their heavy handed transgressions against the citizens of this country and, more importantly, our constitution. No, the Chris Mathews of this world will never go so far as to call for his impeachment, not in a thousand years they won't, but even these morons know that it is not in their best interest to ignore the recent transgressions of the IRS and the administrations miss abuse of the press, even liberal members of the press. Most of all, they finally are becoming fed up with this administrations propensity to lie about everything. Yes, if you ask Jay Carney if the sun will come up next morning, he will find a way lie about it, you can bet your last dollar on that. So, getting back to the original question, why is this administration continually in hot water? There are two obvious reason for their dilemma. First, and most importantly, contrary to what the masses think, this guy, Barack Hussein Obama, is not all that bright. In this respect, there are at least two reasons our pres refuses to release his college records. The first, is that he was registered as a foreign student. The second is that he is a prime example of affirmative action gone badly amuck, his grades were mediocre at best, I'll bet my last dollar on it! Most affirmative action blacks simply disappear before or shortly after they graduate. Unfortunately this one became president of the United States. Before this numbskull became president his primary claim to fame was the fact that he invariably voted present to any issue that came before him while a Illinois legislator and later as a member of the US Senate. No, this guy does not have the mental capacity to be president of this country. In this respect, without a teleprompter our black president comes across as a blithering idiot not able to string two meaningful words together, no matter how hard he tries. However, our problem is not that our president is not particularly bright. We have those before, remember Jimmy Carter. Rather our problem results from the fact that Obama has surrounded himself with a host of underlings cut from the same cloth. In his respect, think Attorney General Holder, Vice President Biden (this guy is really dumber than a box of rocks), Janet (a deer caught in the headlights) Napolitano, Kathleen Sebelius, and last, but not least, his press secretary Jay (the token high school kid) Carney Barker. Most of these people would be more at home on a funny farm than they would be in the White House. Unfortunately, the fact that they are not examples of the brightest inhabitants of our planet is not the only factor that keeps them in the perpetual frying pan of national politics. No, an equally important reason they are forever putting their collective feet in their mouths is a direct result of their inherent amorality. These liberals have no moral compass, none what so ever! Their collective amorality allows them to support the killing of new born babies under the pretense of some aberration of women's rights; it justifies the theft, in the guise of taxes, of one American's money so they can use their ill-gotten gains to buy the votes that will keep them in perpetual power; and, most importantly for this discussion, it allows them to lie at every turn in the road. Yes, from Obama to Hillary Clinton these demorats are, perpetual liars from the soles of their feet to the tops of their shallow foreheads. In politics, everyone knows that it is not the mistakes you make that get you in trouble; rather, it is the cover-up that leads to your demise. The present nest of yellow-jackets in the White House are continually in hot water, not so much because they are so mistake prone, but because they continually lie to cover up their administrative blunders. It's as simple as that. Will the endless mistakes and the administrations lying attempts to cover them up ever catch up with Obama and his incompetent socialist administration? Not a chance, after all this guy is our first black president and it will set back affirmative action for a hundred years if he were to be forced out of office. Nope, we are stuck with him come hell or high water and nothing is going to change in the White House for the next three and a half years no matter how many mistakes are made or how many lies are told to cover them up! The scandals will continue no matter what so we might as well get used to it, it's just the way it is in America these days.

The Boston Massacre, the big unanswered question- who financed the operation?

I have only one question to ask those who are investigating the terrorists that pulled off the recent Boston marathon massacre. The who and the why of the terrorist act are obvious. The two brothers were Muslim extremists who hate the United States of America and everything it stands for. The reason for their hatred is of no interest to me, none at all! I just want them killed. More importantly, I want the people who funded their terrorist attack killed, hopefully while they are in bed with their girlfriends. The fact that the Feds screwed up by letting the older brother, Tamerian Tsarnaev, back into the country after 6 month trip to Chechnya also is not a big surprise. After all that's what these people do for a living- screw up over and over again! In this respect, you will recall that before 9/11 these wizards of smart couldn't even see the significance of a group of prospective Muslim killers who were trying to learn how to fly jet passenger planes, but had no interest in learning how to land them. Well, one low level agent in Minneapolis did put two and two together but couldn't convince her dunderhead supervisors of the significance of her observation. In this respect, the 3000 who died in the twin towers are a monument to the unbelievable stupidity of man! At this point, we know who the theorists were and why they were determined to kill as many of us as possible. The more important question, however, remains unanswered- who sponsored the lavish lifestyles of the killers in the United States prior to the attack and, most importantly, who paid for Tamerian's recent trip to Chechnya? The reason for his trip is perfectly obvious, to learn how to make bombs; now we must determined who paid for his education; why we make it possible for him to go to school; and why we made it possible for him to return to the US after he graduated from the Chechnya bomb school? I expect Obama, and the crew of Muslim sympathizers who surround him, are not overly keen to learn the answers to these questions just as they were not to anxious to determine the events that preceded the murder of our ambassador and his associates in Benghazi. Hopefully, the Bostonian s will demand answers to these questions and insist on swift and certain justice for those that bankrolled this murderous massacre of our innocent citizens. Don't hold your breath! After all we are dealing with amoral, not overly bright, liberal Muslim sympathizers here, supported by go along to get alone spineless republicans who have no real interest in upsetting the apple cart in any major sort to way. Most likely, the politicos on both sides of the isle are waiting, with fingers crossed, for the next murderous event to occur on our soil, hoping that it will take our collective minds off of the incompetent Washington bureaucrats responsible for the Boston marathon massacre.

The Cost of Educating the Children Of Illegal Immigrants.

The lead article in our local rag, The Contra Costa Slimes, this morning dealt with the corrupt practices of the local school district's top lawyer who hid the fact that he was romantically involved with the owner of Advanced Interpreting Services (AIS) while recommending that the Mt. Diablo School District approve nearly $100,000 in contracts for translation services provided to the district by his girlfriend's company. This type of corruption in California public employees is commonplace and the article would not have caught my attention if it were not for the fact it, once again, pointed out the hidden costs of illegal immigration to the citizens of California. The same, of course, can be said for all states who are being overwhelmed by non-English speaking foreigners of illegal status, the vast majority of whom come from South America. Just think of this! In one five month period, from 8/2011 to 1/2012, the Mt. Diablo School District spent $94,000, or $18,800 a month, of the tax payers money for translation services (I was unaware that there was such a thing). At that rate, the district shells out around $225,600 a year so that, among other things, the parents of illegal immigrant children can understand what is being discussed at school board meetings. How many of these illegal's actually attend school board meetings is, of course, a matter of conjecture and of no interest to newspaper or the school district. Now consider this! There are 647 school districts in California and, if we consider the Mt. Diablo district to be of average size, this means that California tax payers are paying about $146 million each and every year just in translation serves for the children of illegal immigrants. Now I ask you, when was the last time you heard anyone in public or private life discus the cost of translation services for illegal's? I expect never! My point is that there undoubtedly are innumerable costs resulting from our failure to secure the boarders that are hidden from us by the corrupt politicians who run the state of California and the federal government. As is the case with this corrupt lawyer and his girlfriend, the unelected bureaucrats who, under the not so watchful eyes of their liberal political allies, reap huge financial rewards from the illegal's that crowd our school, hospitals and prisons. In the long run, the liberal politicians who refuse to support meaningful enforcement of our porous boarders will benefit from illegal immigration because most of the wet-backs who cross the Reo Grande ultimately will be granted citizenship, or some other form of legal status, and join the masses of unproductive lowlifes that make up the democratic parties' voting base. In the meantime, the rest of us are just screwed. Have a good day!

Dennis Rodman- God help us, is this the best we can do?

I am always amazed at the illiterate idiots our colleges and universities turn out these days. Having said that, Southwestern Oklahoma State University must have been particularly proud to have found, under a rock most likely, and educated, I don't know if educated is exactly the right word, this colossal buffoon we all know as Dennis Rodman; the latest in a long line of our un-appointed ambassadors to the impoverished communist basket case that is North Korea. I realize that this remarkable transformation could not have occurred absent the trillions of dollars spend on Johnson's Great Society and farsightedness of the liberal politicos, God bless their souls, who gave us forty glorious years of affirmative action. On hindsight, I can't believe how wrong I was about these magnificent social programs, to have been opposed to them was evil beyond belief. If I were a Catholic I would receive at least ten hail Mary's for a transgression as serious as this, maybe even twenty. But, since I am not of the Catholic faith I will just have to suffer my miscalculation and humiliation in silence. Just think of the transformation that has occurred in the relatively short period of a hundred or so million years. When Ambassador Rodman's ancestors climbed out of the trees and began to roam the Serengeti plains and jungles of Africa all those eons ago they still had tails. Thanks to the miracles of evolution they lost their tails and many other of their ape like features. But thankfully, they also retained many of their better ancestral characteristics: thick lips, black skin, low intelligence, flat feet, flared nostrils, propensity for thievery and obesity etc. As the centuries passed, unnoticed by the rest of the civilized world, Rodman's ancestors rapidly began to adapt to their new life on the ground, learning to walk upright and even mastering the art of the fire. These people always were adept at various art forms including face painting which survives to this day. No one is better at this art form than is Ambassador Rodman. His inventiveness in facial painting and hair coloring is simply unmatched anywhere in the civilized world. I don't know where the youth of America would be today if it were not for the example set for them by Ambassador Rodman. It would be a far different place, that's for sure. Of all his marvelous attributes, possibly Dennis' greatest contribution to modern society is the man's ingenious and creative use of jewelry. Undoubtedly, he also inherited this gift from his African ancestors who were masters in art of self mutilation. These people could stick a bone, a piece of wood or a rock into anything that moved including their lips, nostrils, ears and other body parts unmentionable. The uglier the better! But then, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, isn't it. The point is that Rodman's ancestors were masters at their craft and he seems to have inherited this gift from them as he did their thick lips, flared nostrils and low IQ. Of course, this is only half of the story. Ambassador Rodman has taken the body piercing art to a level unimagined by his ancestors. He no longer employs sticks and fragments of bone to adorn his beautiful mutilated black body. No, he now hangs pieces of expensive jewelry on his lips, nostrils and ears; if it can be pierced Dennis will pierce it. No doubt he is experimenting with innovations that will allow him to pierce his eye lids. If there is a way, our dear ambassador will find it, you can bet your last dollar on that! In the mean time we are lucky to have his illiterate imbecile with bejeweled lips as our good will ambassador to third world misfits like Kim Jong UN. A marriage made in heaven don't you think?

A Word Or Two About Priapism

I discussed the cause of impotence at some length in a previous blog. Priapism is the exact opposite of impotence in that a male has no problem achieving an erection but the erection will not subside after he has ejaculated or, in some cases, when he has not been able to ejaculate and wishes to terminate his attempt at intercourse. There are many causes of priapism, in my day sickle cell anemia in blacks was among the most common. Today, priapism often is caused the medications like Viagra which are prescribed to treat impotence and it is the glut of radio and television adverting of these medications that has prompted me to write this blog. It is not my purpose to argue the pros and cons of any of the impotence drugs; rather, I want to point out a very misleading and potentially dangerous component of the admonishments on side effects that are included in the impotence advertisements. All of these TV come ons have one thing in common. They invariably admonish the person taking the impotence medication to contact a physician if their erection persists for over four hours. This, by the way, was what I was taught when in my urology residency in the late 1960s. This admonishment was wrong then and it is just as wrong today, 46 years later. I have no idea why this piece of erroneous urologic lore has persisted all these years, but it has. In my case, although I knew this information was erroneous, there was always something else that seemed more important to write about so I never got around to correcting the situation. If I had it to do over again I would have acted differently! Well better late than never, I guess. Back to the point which is very simple! If your erection persists, ever for a few minutes, after you are finished with sex, you are in big trouble, have no doubt about it. Time is of the essence. Forget about the four hour rule and get your butt to the closest emergency room as soon as possible. Let's hope that there is an Urologist on call who knows what he or she is doing when you get there. In any case, the longer you wait the more difficult it will be for the urologist to resolve the issue. All erections ultimately will subside, usually within seven to ten days, unless you should die first. Interestingly, if you succumb with an erection it will remain a prominent feature of your anatomy as long as you remain recognizable as human being. This interesting bit of medical trivia is of little or no importance, of course, as long as the lower half of the casket is closed during your funeral. However, if you should live through the experience it can be a problem since about 50% of men with untreated priapism will lose the ability to have future erections. This occurs because the blood flow to the penile erectile bodies is greatly reduced during priapism. The resultant anoxia can permanently damage the fragile erectile tissue within the penis and render you impotent. It is not my goal to discuss the treatment options for priapism in this blog; rather, I simply want to emphasize the importance of early treatment if you should develop a prolonged unwanted erection for any reason and especially if the erection persists after taking one the impotency drugs. In this respect, every minute wasted reduces your chances of a successful outcome if you are unfortunate enough to develop a persistent erection. Take my word for it, applications of ice will not help. So, get a move on, times a wasting!
